Job Overview

Our client, a prominent Optical retail business with several branches in Abuja that deals in the sales of luxury eye glasses requires for immediate employment the service of Marketing Executives for four of their branches in Abuja.

Duties

  • Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing sales and profits.
  • Plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales programs.
  • Track market and company sales performance.
  • Work closely with marketing team to create programs.
  • Generate leads and drive sales.
  • Gather and report customer intelligence to Management.
  • Develop marketing plans.
  • Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company.
  • Manage marketing budgets.
  • Attend trade shows and events to market product.
  • Develop effective account conversion strategies to accelerate adoption.
  • Determine product value delivered through customer operations and effectively communicate value to customers to promote new applications and sales.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
  • Develop understanding of products and value chain.
  • Any other duty as assigned by Management

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience working in a similar position
  • A B.Sc. or HND certificate from any accredited tertiary institution
  • Computer skills in basic Microsoft Office programs are expected
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
  • Knowledge of social media strategy and implementation
  • Good knowledge of Abuja

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with marketing suppliers for all works in progress (production, events, exhibitions)
  • To contribute significantly to the Marketing Department responsibilities of implementing strategies contributing to achieving sales goals
  • Attract and convert prospective clients to active clients (Generate business for the company)
  • To coordinate and implement marketing activities and policies
  • Coordinating with participation in promotional activities and trade shows.
  • Managing the production of marketing materials
  • Monitoring competitive activities and present findings to Department head
  • Management of advertising and PR agencies and other strategic partners
  • Developing communication opportunities
  • Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness
  • Negotiate contracts with various providers and producers to manage marketing deliverables
