Job Summary

The Chief Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the retail store’s assets, employees, and customers. The CSO will lead the development and implementation of security policies, coordinate security operations, manage security staff, and ensure that all security systems are functioning effectively to prevent theft, fraud, and other security breaches.

Requirements/ Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice or related field is preferred.
Relevant security certifications are advantageous.
At least 5 years of experience in security management, preferably in a retail or commercial setting.
Proven experience in leading and managing security teams.
Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols and loss prevention techniques.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to assess security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to respond to emergencies.
Proficiency in using security software and surveillance systems.
Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
