We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assembly Line Manager for our Duka/Low-Duty segment. This critical leadership role involves overseeing the assembly line operations for our low-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong operational acumen, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing, specifically in low-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Line Management:
Oversee the entire assembly line process for light-duty vehicles, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Implement and monitor production schedules to meet delivery targets.
Continuously analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the assembly line team to achieve high performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Quality Control:
Ensure all vehicles meet the company’s quality standards and industry regulations.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Inventory and Resource Management:
Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials and parts.
Coordinate with suppliers to maintain a steady supply chain.
Monitor and control resource usage to optimize production costs.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and standards.
Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the team.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities and performance metrics.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on assembly line performance and issues.
Document and report any incidents or deviations from standard operating procedures.
