Assembly Operator, Duka/Low-Duty

Minimum Qualification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive assembly is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an assembly role within the automotive industry, preferably in low-duty vehicles.

Skills:

Strong technical skills and knowledge of assembly processes and techniques.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.

Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Operator for our Duka/Low-Duty division in the automotive sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components of low-duty vehicles with precision and adherence to quality standards. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency on the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly Process:

Assemble components of low-duty vehicles following detailed instructions and blueprints.

Ensure all parts are fitted correctly and securely.

Perform quality checks at various stages of the assembly process.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect and test assembled parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly process.

Implement corrective actions to resolve assembly problems.

Equipment and Tool Management:

Operate and maintain assembly tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assembly tools and equipment.

Report any major equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Production Efficiency:

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Documentation and Reporting:

Accurately record production data and maintain assembly logs.

Report any production delays or issues to the supervisor.

Provide feedback on assembly procedures and suggest improvements.
