Asset Management Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, CIA, CPA, ICAN, CFA, CITN, or related certifications.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the automotive industry.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of asset management principles, practices, and software systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Role Description: The Asset Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of all assets within our automobile company. This role is critical in ensuring optimal utilization, efficiency, and longevity of company assets, including vehicles, equipment, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of asset management principles, and experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management:

    • Develop and implement asset management strategies and policies to ensure effective utilization and maintenance of company assets.
    • Conduct regular assessments and audits of assets to monitor condition, performance, and depreciation.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to asset management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintenance Planning:

    • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for all company assets.
    • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
    • Monitor maintenance costs and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize asset performance.
  • Asset Tracking and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of all assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
    • Generate reports on asset performance, utilization rates, and lifecycle costs for management review.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on asset data to support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to asset management.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with asset usage, maintenance, and disposal.
    • Implement measures to safeguard assets against theft, damage, or loss.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to align asset management activities with business goals.
    • Provide guidance and support to asset management staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
