Automotive Group Operations Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Relevant certification is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the automotive industry.

Role Description: The Automotive Group Operations Manager will oversee and optimize all operational activities within our automobile company, ensuring efficient production processes, effective resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and enhancing overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
    • Coordinate with department heads to align operational goals with overall company strategy and objectives.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs.
    • Monitor operational performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Resource Management:

    • Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient production and delivery schedules.
    • Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory holding costs.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance with quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and motivate the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide guidance and support to departmental managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Budget Oversight:

    • Develop and manage operational budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
    • Monitor financial performance against budgetary targets and implement cost-control measures as needed.
  • Risk Management:

    • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential disruptions to production and supply chain operations.
    • Implement measures to safeguard assets, enhance operational resilience, and ensure business continuity.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare regular reports on operational performance, highlighting key metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to the Executive Chairman and senior management team.
