Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Team lead for our janitorial service who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the janitorial team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance across various client sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in janitorial operations, including industrial, residential, office, commercial, and real estate cleaning. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in cleaning techniques, and the ability to effectively manage and train a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of janitorial staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet client specifications and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of client sites to ensure adherence to quality standards and address any issues promptly.
  • Provide training and support to janitorial staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and replenishment as needed.
  • Coordinate with clients to address any special cleaning requirements or concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on team performance, cleaning activities, and equipment status.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in any discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in facility management or cleaning management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in janitorial services with a proven track record in industrial, residential, office, commercial, and/or real estate cleaning.
  • In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in various janitorial services.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff.
  • Proficient in using janitorial equipment and technology.
  • Ability to handle client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
  • Capacity to work in various environments, including industrial and commercial settings.
