Job Summary:
We are seeking a well-experienced Team Lead for events Planning and Management services who will oversee and coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing a diverse range of events, including weddings, traditional ceremonies, state functions, marketing events, church events, and community activities. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of event management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of event planners and coordinators to ensure the successful execution of all events.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistical arrangements.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and expectations.
  • Oversee the planning and management of various types of events, including weddings, traditional ceremonies, state government functions, marketing events, church events, street and community events, and other Grade A events.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venue managers to secure services and ensure all event components are in place.
  • Monitor event progress and address any issues or changes promptly to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in Event Planning or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management with a proven track record in organizing various types of events, including weddings, traditional ceremonies, state functions, marketing events, church events, and community events.
  • In-depth knowledge of event planning and management, including budgeting, logistics, and vendor management.
  • Professional development in event management trends and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
