Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead to oversee our Car Rentals/Car Hire Services. This leadership role involves managing all aspects of our car rental operations, including vehicle management, staff supervision, client acquisition, and logistical coordination. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicular operations, logistics, and client management, with a proven track record of success in similar roles. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to lead and motivate a team, and a deep understanding of the car rental industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

●     Lead, mentor, and manage a team of drivers and staff within the car rental department.

●     Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of service and operational efficiency.

●     Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for staff to follow.

●     Oversee day-to-day operations of the car rental services, including vehicle allocation, scheduling, and maintenance.

●     Ensure that all vehicles are well-maintained, clean, and in compliance with safety regulations.

●     Manage logistics related to vehicle delivery, pick-up, and client requests.

●     Develop and maintain relationships with high-profile clients, including embassy staff, foreign missions, government agencies, and other key accounts.

●     Proactively seek new business opportunities and expand the client base.

●     Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

●     Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for business growth and operational improvements.

●     Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.

●     Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, including financial metrics, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

●     Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all transactions and operational activities.

 

Qualifications

●     A Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation Management, or a related field.

●     Certifications in management or logistics, or related is a plus.

●     At least 5 years of experience in car rental services, logistics, or vehicular operations.

●     Proven track record of managing teams, optimizing operational processes, and achieving business targets.

●     Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff.

●     Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

●     Proficiency in logistics and vehicular operations.

●     Outstanding customer service and client management skills.

●     Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

●     Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in car rental and logistics management.
