Job Title: HD (Heavy-Duty) Truck Mechanic

Location: Abuja and Delta

Industry: Oil & Gas and Construction

Years of Experience:10–20 years

 

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and related machinery used in oil & gas and construction operations.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure truck reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other critical systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with management to ensure timely repairs and availability of spare parts.
• Ensure adherence to industry safety regulations during all repair and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in repairing and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, including those used in oil & gas and construction.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and machinery repair equipment.
• Knowledge of truck systems, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, and transmission systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments and meet deadlines.
