Heavy-Duty Sales Team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • NIMN, ISMMN certification or other related certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in heavy-duty vehicles.

Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian automotive market is an advantage.

Role Description: The Heavy-Duty Sales Team will be responsible for driving sales and achieving targets for heavy-duty vehicles within our automobile company. Reporting to the Regional/Branch Sales Manager, this role involves building strong customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions. The ideal candidates will have excellent communication and sales skills, a customer-centric approach, and experience in automotive sales, particularly in the heavy-duty vehicle segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Engagement:

    • Achieve and exceed sales targets for heavy-duty vehicles.
    • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable vehicle options.
    • Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle features and benefits.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
    • Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
    • Maintain a customer database and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Product Knowledge and Presentation:

    • Stay updated on the latest models, features, and specifications of heavy-duty vehicles.
    • Present vehicle options to customers in a clear and compelling manner.
    • Provide customers with detailed information on vehicle features, pricing, and financing options.
  • Sales Process Management:

    • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact to finalizing the sale.
    • Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and timely.
    • Work closely with the finance and insurance departments to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities.
    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Regional/Branch Sales Manager.
    • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other sales team members to share insights and best practices.
    • Support team members in achieving overall sales targets and objectives.
    • Participate in team training sessions and development programs.
