Information Technology Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certification is required.

Experience:

  • Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) in IT management roles, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Role Description: The Information Technology Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of information technology within our automobile company. This role is critical for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, systems, and services to support efficient operations and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management:

    • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective use and management of IT resources.
    • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.
  • Systems and Application Management:

    • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of business applications and software systems.
    • Ensure systems are secure, updated, and aligned with business needs and industry standards.
  • Data Management and Security:

    • Implement and maintain data security measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
    • Monitor and analyze system performance and security incidents to prevent breaches and downtime.
  • IT Support and Helpdesk Management:

    • Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving IT issues and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.
    • Manage IT helpdesk activities, including ticketing systems, response times, and user satisfaction.
  • Budget and Resource Management:

    • Develop and manage IT budgets, tracking expenditures and optimizing costs.
    • Evaluate and procure IT equipment, services, and software licenses as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support professional development.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, IT policies, and best practices.
    • Identify and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats and data breaches.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

    • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
