JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Supervisor in our water production factory. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production facility, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. Your technical expertise, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills will be critical in maintaining a safe, productive, and highquality production environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise and lead a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure their success and adherence to safety protocols. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems, including water treatment equipment, pumps, motors, conveyors, and control systems. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and systems. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize production output. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment repairs, upgrades, or installations. Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical codes, regulations, and safety standards in all aspects of production operations. Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that water quality meets regulatory standards and internal specifications. Analyze data, reports, and performance indicators to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions. Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies required for electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing or water production environment. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including control systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, and water treatment equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Experience with maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance practices. Familiarity with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards in electrical and mechanical engineering. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and propose effective solutions. Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a diverse team. Effective communication skills to interact with team members, contractors, and stakeholders. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools. . Knowledge of water production processes and quality standards is desirable. Project management skills and the ability to coordinate and execute capital projects effectively. Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices in manufacturing operations. Professional engineering license (P.E.) or relevant certifications are a plus.
