We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our HR Consulting firm in Abuja. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the HR field. As an HR Intern, you will work closely with our HR team to support and contribute to various HR functions and projects. - Assist in drafting job descriptions and job advertisements.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings.
- Coordinate interview schedules and communicate with candidates.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires.
Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee recognition programs.
- Support employee relations activities and help maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in maintaining employee records and updating HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related documents, such as employment contracts and letters.
- Assist in the management of HR files, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Help with general administrative tasks related to HR operations.
Training and Development:
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops.
- Help with the preparation and distribution of training materials.
- Maintain training records and assist in tracking employee development plans.
- Contribute to various HR projects, such as policy development and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
- Prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (candidates currently pursuing their degree will also be considered).
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
