Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated loans and POS Team Lead to oversee and manage our soft loans and POS operations. This role involves developing and implementing strategies for efficient financial operations, managing client relationships across various sectors, and ensuring top-notch service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial operations, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to attract and retain clients from diverse sectors, including civil/public servants, market traders, employees of credible organizations, SMEs, embassies/foreign missions, and oil & gas companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of soft loans and POS services.

  • Ensure seamless processing and approval of soft loan applications.

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of POS systems to meet organizational goals.

  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Develop strategies to attract and retain clients from various sectors, including civil/public servants, market traders, SMEs, embassies/foreign missions, and oil & gas companies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

  • Conduct regular client needs assessments to tailor services and improve satisfaction.

  • Oversee financial transactions related to soft loans and POS services.

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide training and support to staff on financial operations, soft loan management, and POS systems.

  • Develop and deliver educational programs to enhance team capabilities and service delivery.

  • Create and implement marketing strategies to promote soft loan and POS services.

  • Engage in outreach activities to increase awareness and attract new clients.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, financial metrics, and client feedback.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Relevant professional certifications is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial operations, including loan processing, POS systems, and financial reporting.

  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proven experience in client acquisition and relationship management across various sectors.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.

  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs.

  • Ability to effectively mentor and support staff.

  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and outreach techniques for financial services.

  • Experience in promoting and expanding financial products and services.

  • Proficiency in financial software and POS systems.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
