Research and identify potential business opportunities, markets and partnerships that align with company goals.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and partners ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and expand the company’s customer base.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs.
Work closely with cross functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure successful execution of business developments strategies.
Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and progress reports and results to senior management.
Minimum Requirements/ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing with at least 2 years experience in a leadership role preferably in a construction material retailing.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong understanding of market business dynamics and customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite and CRM software.
