Due to growth and expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Senior Recruitment Officer to join our team.

Job Description:

The Senior Recruitment Officer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and interviewing candidates for senior and executive-level positions, including headhunting for expatriates. This role involves serving clients locally and across Africa. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a proven track record of filling high-level positions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can build strong relationships with clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top-tier candidates for senior and executive positions.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including headhunting, job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with clients and candidates.
  • Maintain a robust database of potential candidates for future opportunities.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific staffing needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and present candidates’ profiles to clients.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Manage and mentor junior recruitment staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CIPM certification is mandatory; a master’s degree is an added advantage.
  • 6 – 7 years of experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role.
  • Proven experience in headhunting and recruiting for senior and expatriate positions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
