Showroom Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • NIMN, ISMMN certification, or other related certification.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of sales best practices and showroom management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian automotive market and customer preferences is an advantage.

Role Description: The Showroom Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our automobile showroom, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient sales processes, and effective team management. Reporting to the Heavy-Duty Sales Manager, this role is critical for driving sales performance, maintaining the showroom’s appearance, and developing strategies to attract and retain customers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent sales skills, and extensive experience in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Management:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve showroom targets.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
    • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Oversee test drives, vehicle demonstrations, and customer follow-ups.
  • Showroom Operations:

    • Maintain the showroom’s appearance, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
    • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory management team for stock replenishment.
    • Ensure all vehicles are properly displayed and labeled with relevant information.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor the showroom sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals.
    • Conduct performance reviews and identify development opportunities for team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Reporting and Analysis:

    • Track and report on showroom performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and inventory levels.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports for the Heavy-Duty Sales Manager.
  • Marketing and Promotions:

    • Develop and implement marketing campaigns and promotions to attract customers.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team for advertising and promotional activities.
    • Organize showroom events and product launches to drive customer engagement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
    • Identify and mitigate operational risks, including safety and security issues.
    • Implement measures to safeguard showroom assets against theft, damage, or loss.
