Technical Lead Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Technical Lead Supervisor will oversee the technical team and ensure the efficient operation of the automobile workshop. This role is critical for maintaining high standards of vehicle service, repair, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of automotive systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
o Lead and supervise the technical team in performing vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
o Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
o Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
o Monitor and ensure the quality of work performed by the technical team.
o Implement and maintain quality control procedures to enhance service delivery.
o Conduct regular inspections and audits of completed work.
o Manage and allocate workshop resources effectively, including tools, equipment, and spare parts.
o Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
o Maintain inventory levels and manage procurement processes.
o Identify training needs and provide ongoing technical training to team members.
o Keep the team updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
o Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
o Collaborate with the service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
o Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.
o Ensure clear communication between the technical team and customers.
o Enforce health and safety regulations within the workshop.
o Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
o Ensure the workshop environment is clean, organized, and safe for all employees.
o Maintain accurate records of all services, repairs, and maintenance activities.
o Prepare and present regular reports on workshop performance, including productivity, efficiency, and quality metrics.
o Use data-driven insights to improve workshop operations and processes.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in automobile repair and maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in workshop management software and tools.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
